My friend Marcia posted this great DIY Essential Oil Mints recipe. So #améozing Mint Recipe - Ingredients: Gum paste Powdered sugar Food coloring (optional) Drop or 2 of carrier oil 1 drop of favorite clinical grade essential oils Get about an egg size amount of paste and knead. The warmth from your hands will make it easier to work with. If you dont want to color your hands put on gloves add in drop of coloring, drop of carrier oil and 1 drop of favorite clinical grade essential oils. Sprinkle powered sugar on hard surface and roll out on powdered sugar about 1/8 inch thick. Using a knife or pizza cutter cut to preferred size and shape. For small round shape try a straw. Toss in a little bit of powered sugar to prevent sticking. Then let dry until hard, about 48 hours. Place in a container for storage or empty mint tins work great for this. Gum paste can be usually be found in the cake decorating section. Flavor and color recommendations: Yellow = Lemon Orange = Orange or Tangerine (I might try the slimming blend) Pink = Cinnamon* or Clove* Green or Purple = Peppermint Create a fun mix of all flavors for a colorful tin of mints! *these oils can be very strong so if you are not familiar with your ability with these oils it is suggested that you double gum paste & use only 1 drop of oil or use a toothpick dipped in oil once to add oil* Images & parts of recipe from G-mamas Clinical Essential Oil Box and onegoodthingbyjillee
