My friend Mitsuru congratulated me on my FB wall so I guess it’s time for me to officially announce that I will join Microsoft! I remember, for my last high school year, the tradition of my school was to choose a leading figure and a song. For the personality, we chose Coluche and for the song “Au bout de mes rêves” of Jean-Jacques Goldman. I have a confidence, shame on me, I didn’t know who Jean-Jacques Goldman was when my classmates chose this song. Anyway, “Au bout de mes rêves” could be translated by something like “To the end of my dreams” and when I was a teenager, my dream was (and still is) to work at Microsoft Corp. So I’m extremely happy to join Microsoft and realize my dream! I want to thank all my colleagues and those at Microsoft France (particularly DPE) who help me becoming better and, with this way, help me transforming my dream into a goal that I will achieve soon. They are too numerous so I can’t mention all of them but I’m sure they will recognize themselves. I want to particularly thank my current company Infinite Square. It won’t be easy to leave my colleagues. I work with some of them from almost 8 years now and working with them was a real pleasure. It was awesome to work with some of the best French experts at Infinite Square. I learned so much with them. If Infinite Square definitely is an awesome company for Microsoft .NET expertise, I think that, with my criteria, Microsoft is the best company in the world, ever. I also want to thank the whole Microsoft community and particularly the awesome MVP program that gave me so much from 7 years. I want to thank Lisa, Dustin, Soma and the whole Roslyn team who gave me the opportunity to work at Microsoft for my vacations in 2011 and allow me to confirm my dream to work there. I also want to thank all people who answer to all my questions: Lynn and a lot of my friends, particularly Gaelle, Jc, Nadia, Olivier, Gilles, Pierre, Vanessa, Sylvie and David. Finally, I want to thank so much my amazing wife who accepted to quit the job she loves to follow me in my dream. I will always be thankful for this. So I will join VS Engineering Tools and Systems team in October with a lot of excitement, happiness and new dreams that I hope to realize…
