My friend, Professor Abdus Selim ,a scholar in English language and literature observed that these days I am oft quoting lines from varied poems in my Face Book Status . Having observed that, he commented quite rightly that in a mature age as that mine ,one is likely to fall in love with poems.Yes, I feel the same way. Verses keep on giving hints to our fathomless feelings and unspoken words. Now, I got the precise clue for such an act of mine.When I came out from the University after having done my M.Sc,my Father presented me a tiny book, an anthology of assorted English Poems, titled Golden Treasury. I had lost the book a few years ago.Fortunately for me, about a year ago I discovered the lost book in a tattered state which got lost in the bunch of heavy books. I got it bound in black hard cover. The book is now my great company when I am in a vacant and pensive mood. It was such a great gift from a father to his son. I touch this book to my heart and also kiss it.Now, this anthology is my best friend.
