My friend and I have rude, ignorant shit talking banter with each other when we are in competition. We are both equally personal and ruthless but have a clear understanding that its just for frivolous fun. The thing is he is a lot older than me, so third party bystanders are quick to participate by backing him rather than me due to his seniority even though we have equal material. This is fine with me! I absolutely encourage it IF they also understand we are joking and are secure enough to take a comeback. However, it infuriates me when they are actually serious about defending him and insulting me. They really get angry and offended when they get a retort from me like Im a disrespectful villain when im thinking we are all joking, as if being an enabler doesnt warrant a response from me. I mean, I will apologize if i offended them and if they were too insecure for our playful banter. Next time I suggest they recognize their fault in not minding their own business when, initially, it had nothing to do with them, and not staying out of the kitchen when they cant take the heat! Thus, there are those many people I come across, whom I will always have spitefully defensive words for, that front as a moral code or authority disregarding even encouraging his comments, but seriously trying to scold me for mine because of seniority, favoritism, or whatever reason, instead of reprimanding both of us. Thats like teachers indirectly encouraging bullying by only letting the bullies they knew the longest bully or the ones who gave them the most money. It is these reflectable moments that shed light on the bull headed hypocrites who corrupt this world.
