My friend called yesterday afternoon (13 hours ago) from Miami. They made it down and got their cargo container loaded. Right now they are resting in a hotel in Hialeah and in the morning theyll be taken via hotel shuttle to airport and then depart for the Grand Turk Islands. Rowena and Roy will be starting a radio station as a life long dream of spreading the Good News. Am so excited for them. A new chapter in their lives. Have no idea why I am not sleeping at this moment but it seems to escaped me for a while. A few years back, I was given a book by Mitch Albom called Tuesdays with Morrie. Then somehow I obtained The Five People You Meet in Heaven. Wish I had the copies with me. There are some quotes in them that Id like to revisit. like .... “All endings are also beginnings. We just dont know it at the time.” That seems to fit my life over the last few months. Also, “It is never too late or too soon. It is when it is supposed to be.” Sometimes we KNOW certain truths and they just got buried in the pile of living. What about “As you grow, you learn more. If you stayed as ignorant as you were at twenty-two, youd always be twenty-two. Aging is not just decay, you know. Its growth. Its more than the negative that youre going to die, its the positive that you understand youre going to die, and that you live a better life because of it.” and “The secret to happiness...be satisfied and be grateful.”
