My friend who Was not a believer made it his buiness to call me and request that I hear a song that he felt was beauitful. Speaking that God spoke to me a few times about this friend by telling me to give him Jesus instead of my self. I did not understand but i took heed. As hard as it was to do this my friend would always tell me he didnt want me preaching to him and was aware of who God is, but he just was not ready. So I just let it go and prayed for him (all I could do). The point of this was not only is this a beautiful song, number one its country and my friend is no where near a county fan but its amazing how God will use ANYTHING to speak to you. My friend told me thank you for being an inspiration to me always having a smile on your face even in the worst of times, showing me what it is to have faith and showing me Unconditional love when everyone would judge me. also to know that everyword that came out of your mouth I heard it and kept in my heart and He believes that God is with Him. This touched my heart in many ways because I know i put on a great act as to show that I have together but honestly I dont. Everyday is a struggle for me but i dont focus on that I focus on the author and the finisher of my faith and its our duty as Christians to share Gods love and the gospel of Christ and to tell people that God is not mad at them. Im thankful because as much as i belived it wouldnt get through to him. I kept believing God would and He did. Excited about His new journey!!!!
