My friends Samuel Malinowitzer wrote and performed a song titled, Homeless People as a personal effort on his end to raise money and donate to the homeless in Monroe County in Pennsylvania. He then approached another friend, Humbert Fernandez and asked him to make an accompanying video to this song. He provided his video stock and services for free and spent several weeks with Sam videotaping and post editing shelters, a food pantry, an open wooded area where some of the homeless had set up tents (not far from the Route 80 West traffic) and even the Salvation Army (who take in the homeless on a rotational basis so they can get a decent shower and sleep on comfortable bunk beds when they were not enduring the vulnerability of sleeping underneath bridges, inside cars, tents, or cardboard boxes). From out of his own pocket, Sam hired a facility to press two sets of 500 DVDs and CDs and has so far sold only about seventy. With your help, he is trying to sell the remaining 430 to anyone who is interested in helping the homeless here in our area. In addition to being choir members, Sam and his wife Kay have been active with volunteering at our church and helping the homeless within their own modest means. They have even taken in two homeless persons into their household as a compassionate gesture. If you are interested in purchasing a two-set compact disc and dvd of Homeless People, Please message me.
