My friends, Yesterday, after 31 years of Federal Service (military and civilian) I retired and started the next chapter in my life. My service brought me many opportunities, including three deployments, working with some of the countrys brightest minds and leaders, and making friends that otherwise I would have never gotten to know. For all of the blessings of the last 31 years, Im grateful, especially to those of you that had some part in it, or helped make it happen. My retirement is a little earlier than I was expecting, but that, too, has turned into a blessing. I will be returning to another work that I am very eager to pursue, as a minister for a local church that I have been serving with for more than six years.
