My funniest video moment...Meeting Marilyn Maze Copeland to go shopping yesterday. I tripped & feel over a curb in Belks parking lot. My return bags & purse go flying thru the air. I bounce off the concrete like a basket ball. Sit in the middle of the road way wondering if someone is going to run over me & whether I broke a bone...HOPING someone saw me to help me up & that they videoed it. Bruised & hurting hands, knees & shoulder. I finally get up after one lady almost backs over my bags. By now I am guessing if my ankle is sprained or broken... I have a 2 pm dentist apt. that I have to make. I hobble in. They give me Advil & put a huge bag of frozen fruit on my ankle while I get my teeth cleaned. Everyone in the office comes in & laughs. My thoughts are on pain in ankle not my mouth. I have to meet Anna Lynn Mullican at 4:15 pm about a grant we are working on for The Jackson House Foundation. I hobble in Christy Williams Grahams law office for the meeting. Then I ( my CRAZY self) stops by Loretta Y. Gillespies house on my way home for help w/ grant. WE HAVE A DEADLINE TO MEET! I finally make it home. Jim is up by now... I come hobbling up the side walk around 6:30... He says what kind of day have you had? LOL. Ice packs all night & headed to the hospital for an X ray in a few minutes to make sure no broken bone.
