Darby Allaine Capps Program Associate Darby is a senior graduating in May of 2014 from the University of Texas at Tyler in Tyler, Texas, where she will receive her bachelors in Political Science and Journalism with an emphasis on Public Relations and Advertising and a minor in International Relations. Darby is currently a Bill Archer Fellow studying through the University of Texas system in Washington, D.C. As a student at the University of Texas at Tyler, she has worked on several non-profit public relations campaigns in the East Texas community, serving as account executive on her most recent campaign. During the past few years, Darby has also represented the University of Texas at Tyler as an award winning delegate in the National Model United Nations Conferences in New York, San Cristóbal Island in the Galapagos, and in South Korea. She has also been an award winning delegate at the Southern Region Model United Nation Conference held in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to working for the Osgood Center as Project Associate, Darby assisted in teaching Lindale ISD students how to research and succeed in Region 7 Model United Nations Conferences. She has also completed two internships with ARAMARK’s Marketing Department and became the Social Media Community Manager. Additionally, she worked as a freelance wedding photographer and graphic designer for local businesses. Darby plans to graduate with her bachelors in May of 2014 and continue to work in Washington, D.C. before pursuing her masters in International Relations
