My grandmother passed away today.. At first it didnt hit me, she was suffering from Alzheimers disease, and had fallen face first a while back. Her injury got to her over time, and this morning she passed away. I couldnt believe it, It hit me when I called my grandfather and although hes a somewhat hard man, I could hear his hurt. Thats when it hit me, I gave my condolences and said a prayer. Part of me knew time was ticking, and that nobody lives forever. I forgot what loss felt like, but I cant imagine how my grandfather feels. Rest in peace grandma pat, I love you.
