My grandson Brandon Beauchamp Gallart.He came to us as a 6th grader who did not want anything to do with school. They wanted to medicate him, put him through all kinds of evaluations, and mark him for the rest of his life. I told my daughter that I would quit working and try to help him. After trying to put him in school here in FL and they were too full we decided to homeschool him. Its been 2 1/2 years and he just started 9th grade, His graduation for Homeschool kids that takes place at the Miami zoo. May 30 6:30 PM. Make us so proud of him. And all glory to God for the wisdom he gave us to pull this of. It was very hard, but we never gave up. We pushed on and today he is even learning Spanish. Brandon loves basketball and was playing at the YMCA, He love the Heat Basketball team and went we can we buy a tickets for him. For he has earn them. He goes with his Grandfather of cause. I never homeschooled before and myself also with a learning disability, I created the study guide and he did it. Hope my story will inspire another family that is struggling with a child that has learning disabilities and get courage to homeschool and help their child.
