My gripe for the day, grain elevators and mills (primarily Cargill and Purina) that say they start unloading at a said time and then waiting 30 min to an hour after said time to unload. The people that are over paid to do productivity studies should know thats not very productive. And purina, taking an hour to unload a truck is incompetence. When we are sitting we arent making money. There have been studies done over the past few years that it costs $1.50 a mile before a truck makes anything, and fuel prices have gone up since then. People in big companies think these trucks make a killing and it dont hurt to set or dont care, but it does make a difference. Anyways this rant is over.
