My head is a little foggy today for some reason!!! The Event last night was.....well...simply amazing! A HUGE thank you to Kelly Place and Peter who truly outdid themselves. From the minute they walked in the door in the afternoon until the wee hours they worked and worked. Without them this would not have happened. I hope many of you were able to see us live stream...I know that during the toast we had over 100 people on line. I also know Carrie and Sarah and Georges family were watching. If your name was drawn and you WON a prize Kelly will be contacting you and we will be mailing everything to you. We were thrilled to know that a very dear lady who was at the event won Georges jacket. She was in tears...said she was never going to take if off. It was very emotional. Now for the news youve all been waiting for. Our on line donations totaled $7,071.00 and the GRAND TOTAL for the event .......drum roll..................................... $9,179.00 We will leave the pay pal account open so you still have an opportunity to donate if you missed out. THANK YOU to everyone who donated and supported us from afar and those who traveled last night to be with us. It was an amazing tribute to an amazing man. A big thank you also to JJ Smith who had the place rocking all night long. I know the Big Guy was with us last night.... and he is smiling at all of YOU!
