My heart has always been w/pregnant teens & single mothers, being that I have been both. Today I got a call from a young single mother w/4 kids kids under the age of 4 that wanted to end her life b/c she feels useless. God used me to help her understand why she cant give up now. This was right up my road to speak to this young lady! I thank God for everything that I went through in the past. Now I can help save someone else like so many other ppl helped save me. At the age of 16 I had my 1st child, 18 yrs old with 2nd child senior in HS, tried to take my own life, Age of 21 married w/3 sons, divorced at the age of 22, age of 24 I had son #4 by baby daddy #4, age 27 baby #5 by 5th baby daddy...... age 29 I thought my life was over my Dad lost his battle w/cancer!!!!!! AGE 30 I GOT MARRIED SETTLED DOWN a little bit, still doing silly ungodly thing, age 32 my Mom passed away I was totally devastated but kept doing things my way. Every year from the age 32 - 36 we had death after death in our family. We lost everything we owned, filed bankruptcy, lost jobs kids running wild and cutting loose. Late in the year at the age of 36 I had a life changing, life saving emergency surgery. While I was laying flat on my back, alone no one with me BUT GOD, I decided to commit my entire life to Christ. Now at the age of 41 I wont go back, I cant go back to the way things use to be! For God I live and for God I will die! Its all through the GRACE of GOD that I am still here! LORD, I am lifting up all single mothers in prayer to you today! LORD, I ask you to lift all burdens, You know all the situations, You know that no one can make it without You, Lord comfort all heavy hearts, give strength, & when they cant see a way please carry them on show them that You are the answer to all situations. Lord when all hope is lost please remind them that Your love is greater than my disappointment and Your plans for life are better than any human desires!!! In Jesus GREAT NAME Amen!
