My heart is POUNDING out of my chest!! Someone contacted me telling me not to freak out but that my daughter VANZ, had been in a long-boarding accident and was in the ER and didnt have her insurance info! Apparently her ulna was gruesomely snapped in two And she was trying to be brave but kept hyperventilating b/c, afterall, the hospital could not administer pain meds w/o insurance info (say what? Since when, thinks I). Of course, Im scrambling for my glasses (Cant see to find them), fighting back tears, thinking of her trying to be brave, and frantically searching for the insurance card! My keys will be next on my list! I have to get to her! Nobody understands her like I do... (And then theres the thought of Vanz on morphine..). My heart in my throat, I call my sweet little banna banz, knowing she needs to hear from her mommy....she answers.... shes laughing.. April fools! Ha ha ha ha SA-VA-NNAH! (All caps. Im yelling) Custer is staring in disbelief across the room with a shocked expression, as if to say, Shes not really capable of pulling something like this And then, his expression changes to one of sheer admiration and he laughs and laughs. I hang up on her and call her a few names over text message (which Im sure is the EXACT response she was praying for.) I vow: I WILL have my revenge! Next year! A mother never forgets! SSSIIGGHHH!!!! I have aged a decade in 20 min time!
