My heart is full. . . it has been a long week. Most of you do not know that Elder Bradd had to make a decision to either continue in TN or accept his visa and go to Brazil. I have never seen my boy struggle with a decision as he has with this. We have prayed that he would recieve his answer as to where the Lord wants him to serve at this time. He had to give his decision at noon on Monday. We received an email from Elder Bradd this morning. He has always trusted our judgement as to what we should share from his emails. With that being said I will share a small part of his email this morning. I know I chose to go to Brazil, but I cannot deny what the spirit tells me, and last night it told me I should stay in the U.S. The answer I received (although later than i wanted) was stronger than any other answer I received and President explained that you cant force the spirit, you just have to be ready to receive it when it comes. So I am happy, because I would rather go by the spirit, than just what I think best. I am sorry for any confusion it has caused and for all those who were excited for me to go to Brazil. But I promised myself I will always try to follow the spirit as best I can, and this is the direction I have been led. Please forgive me and Im sorry if I have let anyone down. It wasnt so long ago a wise young missionary told me It doesnt matter where I serve, what matters is how I serve. I am so grateful for my boy and for the example that he is to me. How could he think he would ever let anyone down. Love him ! With that being said. . . to all of his mission family in TN - when you see my boy. . . give him a great big mama hug and remind him how much his family at home loves him !!! TN you have been blessed with an amazing missionary for the next 10 months 26 days 4 hours 27 minutes and 48 seconds . . . take good care of him !
