My heart is heavy this evening. I just unfriended someone whom I have admired for a long time. I am totally okay with someones politics being different than mine... completely. In the end, the likelihood is that not a one of us will solve the worlds ills... but if you take the position that your side is the only good and righteous side and that the other side is basically uncaring, stupid and evil... then I am afraid we cannot be friends... because I am not uncaring, I am not stupid and I am decidedly not evil. I dont think your side is evil and I expect the same courtesy in return. We live in a fallen world... a broken world... being divisive and demonizing the other side doesnt make things better.... Love Wins!
