My heart is heavy this morning. I know everybody will jeer at me about this but I have to say it. I do not want them to destroy the wetlands, woods and animal habitat for the proposed Ikea in Brooklyn. This is all about greed. Why cant they use that land in Middleburg Hts by Southland that was supposed to be for a shopping center years back? Its just sitting there ugly and abandoned. Why do they have to destroy all the trees in one of the last forested areas in Brooklyn? Then all the haters will demand the deer be killed because they literally will have no place to go besides behind the former animal shelter next to the fire station. I know nobody cares about the wild animals when they see dollar signs.
