My heart is just absolutely broken for the Gill family in Winchester, who lost their son today. They also have a son in Daniels class. I worked with the mother on the school newsletter when my kids were in elementary school and had a few playdates back and forth. They struck me as the nicest, hardworking family. She was always volunteering at the school and giving of herself to others. Im so very sad that this happened to her and her family. My heart aches for the little brother, Brendan, in sixth grade and for Patricks twin sister. This whole town has been stunned into silence tonight. We are hugging our children just a little bit tighter. Its a harsh reminder that we must not lose sight of what is truly important.
