My heart is very happy tonite. Had an almost 3hr phone convo with my dad. The first time in my life hes ever offered me advice on how to be a supportive, encouraging, and loving woman to my man. He offered specific examples of how he and my step mom stayed so in love for so many years. As far as Im concerned its never too late to finally bond with my dad even if its over my relationship. Its a good feeling knowing that he approves of the man Im in love with and wants to offer advice on how to not just keep him, but keep him happy! If I could just make my man even half as happy as my step mom made my dad.....I have no doubt we will grow old together
