My heart is very heavy today. Recently I had been blessed with meeting Melissa Meade. Melissa died yesterday after suffering a horrible car accident near Richmond Ky on I-75 coming home to Ohio her Christmas in Tennessee Saturday. She was 38 years old. She leaves behind a 12 year old son, who needs your prayers as he battles through critical injuries and likely more surgeries and her 5 year old adopted daughter. Both children were in the car. The other driver was also killed. My heart goes out to him as well. I still have her texts from Christmas day. I wish I hadnt deleted the texts from the day before. I thought there would be more. Melissa and I had known each other only a few months but we knew we could rely on the other for a kind word if we were down. She touched my life and made a lasting impact. I know the world is a little poorer for losing Melissa. She was a great person and I will miss her. Please pray for her family. She was very close to her Mom and sister. Their loss is immeasurable Remember there are no guarantees of tommorrow.
