My home is a mess of barbecue potato chips, dirty laundry, piles of books to trip over, a half-eaten breakfast burrito lying on the rug, a mad pile of dishes that accumulated in a jet-lagged night, a jumble of electronic chargers, a buzz of television and online shows streaming American Dad and Nathan for You, a list of chores still being ignored, and, strangest of all, a bag of sweet peppers almost wiped out. This mess is making me happy.
