My hometown is one of the islands hit by the super typhoon. My place is lucky enough ( as we were in the southern part of the island) to be spared from the catastrophic blow of the typhoon. I hope my friends and their family in the north of Cebu and Leyte are OK. Seeing horrible news, updates and photos from the devastation is depressing.The widespread looting in Leyte as people become more desperate ( even violent) looking for food and supplies is another thing to worry about. Praying that Leyte and other heavily affected areas will overcome this ordeal.
