My hubby and I both work from home and so keeping the kids in check can be tricky! you know how they find every chance to whine about something not to mention the noise!!! so here is a daily schedule that I put together for them and it has been working like a charm!!! the house is quiet and very clean and they are learning something everyday at least!!!! Kids ages 11, 10 & 5 Sharing with parents.... DAILY SUMMER SCHEDULE (except Saturday and Sunday) ( Ledell, Nevan, Kellan ) 9:00 am: Wake up, brush teeth, makeup beds, change out of PJs (Ledell help make up Kellan’s bed) 9:30 am: Breakfast of choice (cereal, eggs, bread, oatmeal, waffles……) 10:00 am: Activity (Math); 4 pages from workbook 10:45 am: Activity (Reading); library book of choice 11:15 am: Activity (Comprehension – Writing: summarize what you read above in one page) 11:45 am: Snack 12:00 : Cleanup (Bathrooms, arrange shoes in closet, arrange loft, dust living room, vacuum your bedrooms and loft) 1:00pm: Lunch 1:30pm: Quiet Time in your rooms – do whatever 2:30pm: Fun/Creative Activity/Science (Pick a fun activity – ex: Science, lookup a new word meaning/translate into French and Spanish and write a paragraph, recipe, draw, make something --- be creative) 3:30pm: Watch TV – Ledell watch your show in the living room, Nevan & Kellan in the loft 5:00pm: Outdoors – Ride bike, scooter, soccer, jump rope, grab a snack …. 6:00pm: Bath/Shower Time 7:00pm: Dinner (Help with preparing and setting up for dinner) 8:00pm: Cleanup (Ledell wash dishes and clean cooker top, Nevan sweep floors, clean Island top) 8:30pm: Watch a TV show together in the loft 9:30pm: Brush teeth, floss, mouthwash, change into PJs 10:00pm: Read a book/practice musical instrument 10:30pm: Bedtime – say your goodnights and sleep - ABSOLUTELY NO NOISE!!! SATURDAY: breakfast, Clean bathrooms, sort/load/fold laundry, Swimming, Soccer Camp SUNDAY: Breakfast, Church, Relax, Practice musical instrument
