My husband and I went to see The Giver tonight... What an incredible movie with a much needed message... We dont like pain, we dont like conflict and we dont like things to be unfair BUT is seemingly ridding the world of those things worth sacrificing love, beauty and emotion? What I took away most is that there will always be evils taking place on earth until The Lord comes back but when we numb ourselves by choosing apathy, we deprive ourselves of the good that still exists around us and although it is called by a different name, evil will still take place right under our noses... Ignoring it doesnt make it go away... May we all be Givers to those around us, even when what we have to give is rejected, mocked and causes us pain... It may only save one but one is always worth the battle!!
