My husband is a very strong person. He is THE strongest man I have EVER seen, heard of and he has been through more things than any one person. I mean, major events, like car crashes, surgeries, and vomiting blood, more than one time, almost dying numerous times, pronounced dead several, and he still goes on. But, more and more I hear HIM say, he does not have the strength. He cannot do it anymore. I understand. I think, I understand because I feel a small part of what he does. Physically. And I KNOW I have no concept of the pain he endures daily. Chronic pain wears a person down. No one is immune. Offer support if you have anyone in your life that has health issues, pain issues especially. We all do not have equal measures of inner strength that can make us endure pain forever. We all are unique, with our own set of unique skills, talents and faults. Love the person for who they are. Do not love them for what they can do.
