My independence feeds my ego and pride. And it isnt until Ive made a vital mistake that I realize I hurt other people because of my lack of emotion. Perfect example. My mother tells me a story of when I was younger. I threatened to run away. I was about 4 or 5. She opened the door and a happily walked out. Before I got through the door she said give me everything I bought you back. Full of pride I happily stripped down to my underwear and walked out of the door and it wasnt until I realized how hungry and cold I was that I began to realize I needed her for nurture and comfort. Moral of the story, I dont realize how much I need a person until its too late. So if Ive ever pushed you away or made feel like youre unimportant, Im sorry I really am.....
