My intact male just turned 1 this week. He has not had an accident in the house since maybe 15 weeks old, but today...he peed ON me. On purpose. Deliberately. I was standing in the kitchen and my children, 5 and 2, were hanging all over me. Mountie was trying to get his nose in between them to reach me, and the kids werent letting him. So, he very deliberately walked BEHIND me, cocked a leg and let go. WHAT?? Is this a territory thing? Is it an attention thing? Im not sure what time of behavior training aspect to head for this. Any suggestions/ideas? I tried to google this, but I am not using the right combination of words to get appropriate feedback. (What the!??!dog pee me??!! what?!*#&$# ---doesnt get you anywhere!)
