My # is 12. Thanks Paula Iburg Banks. Here goes: 1. I was born on the 4th of July. My daddy always told me everyone celebrated my birthday and I believed him until I was big enough to know better. 2. I love to swim and I can tread water for the longest. I will challenge anyone to beat me. 3. My beautiful mother died when she was 29 and I was only 9 . My Dad became Super Dad until the day he died at age 70. I loved them both so much and miss them terribly. 4. I was captain of my Black Rock High cheerleading squad and loved it! 5. I wasnt good at basketball in high school but I could play the drums. I know these two things are unrelated. Just thought Id throw that in there. 6. My first stringed instrument was a ukulele which I taught myself to play by reading the book. I now play guitar, bass guitar, and the fiddle though I am not the greatest on any. 7. My first job was Lawrence County Deputy Treasurer when I was 17. My Dad was County Treasurer and he appointed me. My last job was high school teacher. Im retired now but still work. I just dont get paid for what I do now but thats ok. 8. I met Danny on the only blind date I ever had. My sister fixed me up with him because she was dating his roommate. She said he was cute and I trusted her. Weve been married 39 years now. 9. I sing and play gospel/bluegrass music with 2 different groups and I never get tired of it! 10. I am Grammy to 4 boys, and 5 girls all under the age of 10. Yes you heard me right! Never a dull moment. 11. I love to watch a really good movie now and then. I dont like the violent and depressing ones just the good ones like The Sound of Music for example. 12. Last but not least, I love my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and am thankful for my many, many blessings which are more that I can count!
