My # is 7 Things about me ~ 1. As a small child I would attempt to control both sides of a conversation. I would ask a question and then I would recite what I thought was the appropriate response in return... and then say say that So you see, my control issues go way back! 2. When I was Jr High age I decided to try my hand at sewing and convinced mom to let me use her machine in her sewing room for a little project. Shortly after I started.... I asked my mom to come to her room, I needed her help. In my need for speed sewing I had unintentionally sewed my finger to my project. The needle stopped in the down position thru my finger. I was stunned and dumbfoundedly forgot how to lift the needle. So there I sat, waiting to be rescued. It hurt like H*%%!! I am most definitely not the seamstress my mother was! When I do sew, I hear her voice in my head saying and who taught you to do it like that, you did NOT learn that from me. It makes me smile. I just keep trying. Is this where I mention that both of my boys and my brother can sew better than me?! 3. I had my first car wreck less than a week after I got my drivers license. I cried and swore I would NEVER drive again! My mom calmly told me that it was a long walk from our house to my job at the Galley and she had NO intention of driving me....so get over it. It was her car that I wrecked. That woman was amazing! 4. Once while throwing my partially eaten lunch away in the dumpster at work I inadvertently dumped a half a cup of Wendys chili on a guy who was in the dumpster diving for treasures. I had NO clue he was in there. He yelled---I screamed and ran back into the office. Its funny now but he scared the crap out of me. I really think divers should wait until the business closes before they hop in the trash. 5 I refer to all of my pets as my babies/furbabies. My baby girl, my baby boy. I refer to Mark as their daddy, like go sit with daddy. He does not find this very amusing, so I shall keep doing it. My children are convinces that I will eventually be one of those crazy cat ladies. Pffft...who says I will limit myself to just cats?! Seriously though, as much as I would love more, our house and lifestyle can really only accommodate 1 house kitty . Fairly confident I will stick to that conviction. 6. Now that my kids are grown I have started on a journey to discover who I am....above and beyond being a wife and mother. Its been interesting. So far the most surprising to others was me taking a shooting lesson. I think Mark was a little scared, but proud at the same time.... 7. My family is my EVERYTHING!! I love them to the Moon and Back!!! I have a wonderful circle of friends and a Job I really like. I am blessed beyond belief!! If you would like to participate... your # is 7 as well.
