My journey back home was quite challenging but God was with me. From Ormoc I have seen how Yolanda destroyed the places going to Tacloban. From our barangay, I cannot even recognized our street. Large debris are all over the areas and some corpse are still there. I went to San Jose Airport then to McArthur Park then to Campetic going to San Juanico Bridge, I was crying hard for the heart breaking scenarios, I have seen how the people strive to live and start a new life. This made me realized to pray more for the country. Those broken masterpieces will soon be made whole. As we had our first sunday at the church after the typhoon, it was very emotional. People seemed to be helpless and nowhere to go but the Spirit of God satisfied there soul. Thank you Lord! Yes the survivors need food but they need comfort too, thank you for the missionaries whos there to give a hug and preach the Word. From Tacloban going to Hilongos, Leyte, I have seen children on the streets begging for something and that crushed my heart. I have witnessed that all coastal areas was really affected. People started to build home along the roads and they are helping one another. In spite of all, smiling faces are still vivid among them and praising our good God. I know God has prepared a better place for us! The time is near! Thank you Lord for the future glory!
