When the New York Times said that Viola Davis was less than classically beautiful, blogger Abi Ishola was inspired to show the world that black women are more than classically beautiful, beyond even. She writes black women remain a target to those that hold dear the European standard of beauty and set out to portray that we are actually, #beyondclassicallybeautiful I am proud to have been included in a group of diverse, beautiful black women that were a part of this project as we shared our personal styles and our thoughts on what beauty means to us.
