My letter to the revenue commissioner of Lawrence county Mr. Praytor, I have tried to pay my tag by A. going online (I was a day late, because I was in the hospital with my wife having a baby so I could not do this) B. Calling (they will not take a debit card over the phone and will not allow me to send a check because it accrues interest daily and GOD knows you would want to miss a damn dollar of MY money) C sending my wife (her name is not on my vehicle so this too was a failure). Now Mr. Praytor I am not sure how this works in other counties but I think there is a damn issue that needs to be resolved here. 1. It would benefit the public if you would train your people to accept debit cards. This my friend is common sense you are there to SERVE the people not to inconvenience us to show off your GIVEN power. 2. FIX YOUR CRAPPY WEB SITE If you want MY money so damn bad by charging me interest every day FIX the web site so it understands and charges accordingly. YOU ARE NOT OBAMA FIX THE DAMN THING. 3. If 2 people are married the other should be able to pay their tag once again I know this is more than likely over the governments head but it is common sense. 4. Your workers should be able to look up a persons record of payment on their computer see that they are good for the money and allow them to mail a check. I will be personally giving your job a shout out on the Jamie Cooper show and whom ever is running against you I will be supporting I am tired of elected officials acting like they can inconvenience the public for no better reason than they are LAZY.
