My love affair with Scrivener continues! I just figured out how to get personal files to look normal on Kindle. For the last five years, Ive been sending myself .doc and .pdf files that were so poorly converted to kindle, they were basically unreadable. I finally (way behind the learning curve here) learned theres one little file to download from Amazon (free!), and now all I have to do is press a button on Scrivener, send the file to myself, and then it shows up on my Kindle/iphone and looks PERFECT! My beta readers are going to love me for this. My only concern is that a Scrivener expert - Gwen Hernandez - gave a 2 hour presentation at RWA Nationals on using Scrivener to format works to self publish. 2 hours. I did this in less than 10 minutes. I wonder what Im missing. (Sorry for the rambly, behind-the-writing-scenes post. Im just seriously excited about this!)
