My lovely child: At the bedtime conversation and cuddle I asked for non-device plans for the next day, and he came up with many! The next day he volunteered and assisted our landlord in yardwork (his idea entirely). From him he determined that he would make the concrete needed for further work. From the description given to him, he used flour and water, but when he noticed that it was looking like cookie dough, he decided to make 'concrete cake.' So, he mixed together ingredients remembered from past baking, measurements guesstimated in the moment, baked it, and came up with a tasty little cake which was shared around and saved for the rest of the family yet to return home! During this day as well: He helped cook and present a delicious late lunch for our house full of boys. He created a new board game (which he has been doing of late) for us to play later. He schooled the dog in doggy socialization at the river dog park, build a bark-strip walkway across the stream, talked enthusiastically to many a stranger, gave me hugs and appreciations. Having time with him, away from the larger family group, I was given an opportunity to appreciate his creativity, generosity, friendliness, love, and big givingness of heart! I love my guapo! Gratitude for my eyes to see him!
