My lovely friend Daniel gave me a cut & color today and Ive been weepy all night because of it. He lives and breathes work. His schedule is always jam packed designing wigs and styling hair for Broadway shows and yet he slummed it with me, generously and unexpectedly giving me a lift out of the doldrums of pony tails under baseball hats. Feeling loved and grateful on top of the usual tired and stressed. Ive slept 2.5 hours in the last 48. Its ridiculous and irrational, and I know it when Im awake...but tell that to my brain as it tries to rest. The bar is pretty much complete. Work should be finished this weekend save for some tiny things here and there. Christian will be headlining in Kansas City so Im going to concentrate on paperwork like taxes, spreadsheets and cash flow statements. Theyre my boyfriend when Christian is on the road.
