My mind is very unsettled during this holiday Season. The barrage of attacks on our peace officers. Our 1st amendment buckling under from cyber attacks and threats. The lack of Federal local and state leadership. I am 67 and see nothing but deteriorating morals, ethics and judgement. The America I grew up in was a model of leadership. Our Marshall plan to rebuild Europe and Japan. Our fortitude to enter into another war to defend South Korea. Our National highways built. All this under the worldly threat of Communist brutality. Stalin murdering 15 million of his own people. Khrushchevs Cuban missile crisis to the brink of WWlll. All under the threat of nuclear war. Than the fall started Kennedy killed, Johnson Vietnam escalation, Civil Rights, Malcolm X killed, Martin L King Killed, Robert Kennedy killed, Nixon s Watergate scandal, Ford, Carter Iran hostages taken, Regan Marines killed in suicide bombing Beirut, Iran contra, Bush Iraq war, Clinton World trade center bombed, Luinsky impeachment, Sandy Berger jailed thievery, Bush Twin towers destroyed, Iraq Sadam Hussein Hanged, Afghanistan war, economy falters, Obama Afghanistan war continued, Bin Laden killed, economic depression, dysfunctional Congress And Senate Government shut down, Civil unrest and disobedience, White house attacked by intruder two separate occasions, Ferguson Riots, Immigration controversy. If Im wrong can you point to it so I may reevaluated and digest your input.
