My mom visited me in a dream this morning. I heard her voice and I paused, trying to remember if she was still alive. Suddenly I was in our house where I grew up standing outside the door to her bedroom. I knew she wouldnt be in there but I entered and called out Mom? anyway... and sitting on her bed was a pile of lovely wrapped gifts. I thought it strange that they were there but of course I sat down and opened the top one. It was a box full of delicious bags of nuts; pecans, circus peanuts and cashews. There was also a box of gorgeous artisan candy including Turtles (pecans covered in carmel and chocolate) which were always my favorite. I dove in and tasted everything - it was delicious! Mom used to send me a box like this every Christmas. I guess Christmas came early this year. Thanks mom. I love you!
