My morning vent! Just finished talking with the airline. They totally screwed up my daughters flight from Ohio to home for Christmas! My baby was suppose to be here last night. Instead she shows up at the airport with 2 suitcases that she dragged on the train from her dorm to the airport just to be told they overbooked her flight and they will just give her another flight for another day! Say what! My baby called so upset as she dragged her bags back to the train to campus! They never sent any notice prior to arrival and the only excuse is that they have a right to overbook! Really, even at the safety and inconvenience of your passengers? So you send my baby packing back on the streets of Cleveland, a city she is not familiar with, by herself, after she had safely arrived at the airport with other students. Now I have to make arrangements for a new early morning flight which puts her traveling alone in the dark and figure out how to pick her up during a time I am scheduled to be in trial! You know I am waiting on the supervisor to call me back! I was just too tired to argue last night but am rested and been on them since 4 this morning! How can you overbook a flight by 30 something people and NOT give any prior notice? Its all about money and they suck!
