My mother in-law Peg bought me a wonderful book for my birthday titled The Book of Sacred Stones, by Barbara G. Walker (not to be confused with the Book of Stones.) I love this book because it is helping me understand my own thoughts about my love for the mineral kingdom. Many people have tried to encourage me to share the metaphysical properties of the stones I have for sale, and Ive tried to do that. But I also had this thought in the back of my mind which I was unable to articulate until now (thanks to Barbaras book), that the connection to stones will be vastly different for different people. The energetic properties of these stones are NOT one size fits all. I know what stones frequently resonate most with me, but that can change depending on where Im at mentally and emotionally. Its true that Rose Quartz is still the only stone I can sleep with all night long, BECAUSE it has a great calming effect on me. And yet, many so-called crystal experts say that CITRINE is the only stone that never needs clearing or cleansing because it doesnt hold negative energy. Ive even repeated that rumor before. But the truth is, if it truly doesnt hold negative energy, why does it feel like a hot coal in my hand after a short time? Most likely because its my own energy being projected onto it. With that said, however, I have found that CITRINE DOES HAVE AMAZING ABILITY TO HELP US MANIFEST ABUNDANCE. Some Feng Shui and crystal experts advise to put a piece of citrine in the abundance corner of your home, which is the furthermost left corner from the front door. I cant promise it will work for you, but I can swear to you that since my husband and I have been doing that, we have had a significant amount of unexpected money come our way on three different occasions. Was it the stone that made that happen, or just coincidence? Im not sure. But Im sold on the abundance power of the mineral citrine. So if you are interested in testing the theory out yourself, here are a few pieces of citrine I have available. The large Citrine sphere, is a lovely specimen and very powerful - so powerful in fact - it fell from my hands once, landed on a hardwood floor, and ended up with a small chip.
