My mother shared this on her wall last night... oh I remember this song so well.... used to hear it playing over and over and over for a couple weeks during the holiday season. I still remember all the words by heart. How would I know back then that someday I would really and truly believe to heck with ole Santa Claus. - Mom was a huge Loretta Lynn fanatic from the late sixties... I remember her cleaning house or cooking or doing laundry, or whatever she was doing she was blasting Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty records on our whole house hifi system, and shed be singing at the top of her lungs. Funny thing is that back then Mom looked AND sounded a lot like Loretta did... she could have even played the part of Loretta Lynn impersonator. Funnier still is that I still remember all the words to all of hers and their songs. - LOVE YA MOM!!!!
