My mother used to be a source of energy, even a force of nature. She was always active, riding a horse, cutting trail, packing a Bowie knife and her Ruger. 22 or the shiny S&W .357 Highway Patrolman Special. She poured energy into everything especially teaching and horses. To see her virtually helpless is heartbreaking. This is not the way I would wish anyone to spend their last days. I would like one last positive thing to happen for her. If anyone has an old, gentle horse that needs some extra love and petting, I know a place that has lots of grass. A Tennessee Walker would be great. Need some fence repairs and some fencing panels moved around but theres a barn, tack room, water and plenty of horse stuff. 35 acres and a big pond await.
