My name is Ana Almendarez I am a mixed child. Mixed I say it like this in quotation marks because its a label. Technically I am mulato and mestizo by definition. If you arent familiar with the terms look them up. I was blessed enough to have history teachers that pushed the envelope and taught me what went beyond the history books. Ms. Goiricelaya I love you for infusing me with true knowledge. My father is black and my mother is white... These are their races if you will. They are both Hispanic... I am too. We were all born in Nicaragua. Therefore I also carry Indian blood in my family tree. Some people may not consider me black or white but guess what IT DOESNT MATTER!!! Because I am a child of God. Just like any human being reading this... You are a child of the most high!!! YOU WERE CREATED BY A LOVING GOD!!!! I share this with you because the video you are about to watch is heart wrenching to me as a person. I truly from the depths of my heart am astonished at this video. WHAT IS THE WORLD TEACHING OUR YOUTH?!!!!! THE IGNORANCE MUST STOP NOW!!!! I am not oblivious to the fact that race IS an issue but COME ON these are babies... These are babies!!!! I had dolls in every color is my toy chest... Never do I think my upbringing was perfect but this is just mind blowing to me. Im not a parent yet but this right here isnt going down in my household. Parents please teach your babies to love themselves and their peers. Who is to say you are better or somebody else is better than you?!!! NOBODY!!! Skin is beautiful in all shades but the soul, the heart of a person is their true colors. I am very passionate about praying against racism worldwide. Lets quit the racist slang terms, lets really watch our mouths and take a look within. Im just hoping sharing this will make a difference in moving someone for change. Its too much!
