My name is Cara, & I am 5 yrs old. My friend Suzanne said if I told people my story they might understand me & offer to take me home, so here goes. All of my life I was a much loved girlie. My Dad adored me, he took me everywhere with him. Just me & Dad versus the world. Well one day Dad collapsed & went to hospital. I missed him so much, but his daughter took me to her house so it was ok. Well Dad wasnt well enough for me & him to go back home so we had to stay with his daughter. Well all was ok til the little snappy terrier terrorists there finally pushed me over the edge & I bit one. She was ok, but the family said I had to go. Dad couldnt keep me any longer. So then I found myself in a foster home, which was great, but they had a workman visit & I growled at him! He looked dodgy!!! Dont they all!! Well since then, which was months ago, I have been here in Elswick kennels. Aunty Annette & Uncle Iain love me very much & let me play with loads of toys! You want to see the stash of balls they have!! I love to sit on the bench next to my Aunty Net, she cuddles me & kisses me & tells me soon I will have my own family again, but it will never be my Dad. I love with all my heart you see folks, Im told its a German Shepherd thing. If you have any room in your heart for me, could you take me home please?
