My name is Jim and I am Almas husband. Alma has been a thorn in the side of the Payette County P&Z and the oil and gas companies along her co-heart Tina Fisher for almost four years. She is still being held at the Payette County Jail since Thursday and is refusing food. Alma is not allowed to have visitors or phone calls. I appreciate all of the support that you have shown her. Please keep up the energy and help bring this story to all of the media markets. Alma plans on staying in jail and refusing food until her voice is heard. Here is the video of what transpired to Almas arrest. She was called out at the end of the meeting by the Payette County Commissioner Chair Chad Enger and Commissioner Pete Morgan. Alma asked for a Point of Order for the source of Commissioner Morgans findings. Her request was ignored and she was asked to leave the room. The ironic thing is that Chair Commissioner Enger just stated I think we need to ask and request for documentation Alma was arrested for trespassing, obstruction and contempt. This is what happens when property rights and environmental issues run smack in the face of the oil and gas companies unethical efforts to make a profit.
