My name is Sonya and I am the owner of Sonyas Bunz In The Oven Bakery. I started this business after Busy Bs Bakery closed last June. I was pregnant with my wonderful son and with help of friends I started making cakes. Its been a rough year 2014, trying to keep a company going in the first year, most close. I have been existing without a bank loan and working strictly on cake orders. I have struggled and fought to continue my passion and love for cakes so it is with a heavy heart that I contemplate closing my bakery. The days of existing on orders have come to an end. I have been working a part-time job to support myself as a single mom and care for my son. I have also been taking business courses to help the bakery grow. The time away from my bakery is starting to show. Mistakes have been made in my absence and I need to be back in the forefront. In order to do this I need either a bank loan or a crowd funding project to raise money to stay in business. I need to pay back those whose cakes have been done incorrectly, I need to pay back friends who have worked for me for free to help my dreams come to fruition. But most importantly I need to keep this bakery alive! If you support me, if you want to get reimbursed for mistakes in orders, if you believed in my bakery dreams please help me stay in business!
