My nephew Michael lived in our home for over a year after he and his mother lost their home to Super Storm Sandy. He went from being not only our nephew and cousin to our daughter, during his time living us, to being truly a part of our home and family. We had our ups and downs, but Michael found strength from our support and love and the never ending, unconditional, and unwavering Love and Commitment of his mother Dianna. He was just beginning to find real happiniss and success when his life was tragically cut short when he was killed is a freak car accident on the G.S.P. coming back to our home from his girlfriends house on December 14 2013. His trunk was filled with Christmas gifts for my family, his mother and other extended family. Michael was a very loving, considerate and giving soul and he touched many lives during his short time here with us. He was always ready to step up to the plate if someone needed help. He truly was a good guy. We miss him every day, its just been so hard accept that hes really gone...but nothing compares to profound pain and shock his loving mother felt and continues to feel every day, having lost him so abruptly. It was her only child and she was a struggling single mother doing her best to provide for him. Every day since losing him has made us all realize just how special he really was and how much he meant to us all. So, in memory of Michael and in celebration of his life, love and giving heart, his Mother Dianna felt it would be really special to honor him with a memorial park bench situated right beside his grave. This bench is special just as he was and is also unfortunately, a bit expensive...but we all agree, it is a meaningful and worthy dedication to our sweet loving Michael. His mother is ultimately going to foot the bill, but she thought it would be worth creating some sort of fund raiser where people who would be given the opportunity to help with getting Michael his memorial bench. So Im sharing this link to the fundraising page in hopes that some generous souls might be kind enough to donate anything they can to help his mother with the expenses. Every little bit helps, even if its just $5.00...anything you can give is greatly apprecaited. So please, take the time to read a bit about him and to please give what you can. I, my family, his loving mother and extended family want to sincerely thank you in advanve for your contributions. We all do miss him so.... Again, thank you all so very much and God Bless you and yours. My little 6 y/o girl says its ok, Michael is her Guardian Angel... well then, Id say shes one lucky little girl to have him watching over her. :) R.I.P. Michael....We Love You ♡
