My new book, To Marry A Scottish Laird, is out so please tell me what you think! This is the second book in my latest Scottish Highlands series that started with An English Bride in Scotland. It involves willful women and men in plaids that would swallow their own tongues before admitting that they swooned. Went to visit friends this weekend and had such a great time! Nothing beats spending time with people where everybody knows your name or in my case where everyone will know my name by the end of the night after a lot of good conversation and perhaps a couple of margaritas. Our host showed us his very own man cave, which was in the garage. It was a very nice garage and the man cave was decadent however I do think its pretty funny that guys are so impressed with their man caves which are often located in the garage... so the wife gets the run of the beautiful expansive house and the husband gets the garage AND is as happy as a clam with it. Thats funny! So as I said were in the man cave and were playing a few arcade style video games including a pretty cool car racing game where you get to race the player next to you. I was about to play with my hubby, when he got up to throw out something and in the few short minutes he was gone a very drunk and friendly stranger sat down next to me. (This poor guy’s slurred speech was so bad that I couldnt even make out his name.) My hubby showed up in the nick of time and I insisted he take my place, but in my eagerness to get out of the drivers seat, I twisted my knee. When I woke up the next morning with a bruised knee and a bit of a limp he said I had Talladega leg. (Talladega was the race track we were playing on. He thinks hes so funny! LOL)
