My next post will be highlights of my next batch of Fordite - TopicsExpress

My next post will be highlights of my next batch of Fordite pendants. The next batch should be in my shop yet this evening. I just wanted to show you a before and after of one of those pics, and to explain what goes into editing photos. Firstly, I absolutely do edit my photographs. I do so for two reasons; the first one is for consistency, and the second one is for accuracy. I crop every single one of my photographs for the sake of consistency. When you flip through the pictures in any of my listings, I want all of the photos to be the same size. This makes for a much better experience across the wide spectrum of devices that can now be used for shopping on the web. Over half of my editing time is spent eliminating distractions. The camera is a brutal tool in seeing absolutely every little speck of dust. Especially on a pure black background! Which in most cases comes out looking like a washed out gray before editing. I spend the rest of the editing time on adjusting saturation and overall light to dark. As mentioned before, these pictures will be viewed on a wide array of devices. My goal is to give each viewer the ability to feel confident that what they see closely represents what they will receive. The entire editing process takes 30-45 seconds per photo, so I dont spend a great deal of time trying create perfectly massaged pictures. The first picture should be the obvious unedited version. Only cropping was done on the first pic. The second pic is how it will appear in the listing, and hopefully how you will see it when it arrives!
